MORON OF THE WEEK

Poor old Mike Hitchen.

I am really not sure what I have done to rattle his cage but apparently all mention of this blog on his site is being deleted.

"The next post advertising the blog of the bargain basement reject shop purchase, known as trannyfattyacid, will be reported as comment spam."

Bargain basement reject shop? What can he mean?

Well you know now:) It is strange, that apart from the Mirror Forum and daily newspapers, its blog is the only one that has links posted on a now daily basis.

I have no interest in promoting the blog of an intellectual property thief, who has not only stolen my intellectual property but also the intellectual property of others. The fact that it has also slagged me off on numerous occasions, called me a liar and accused me of being rattled, has done nothing to endear me to it.

I am sure its blog does have a market, and a photograph of a representative sample of that market, is shown in the Goodnight From Sydney post."

Ah yes, that would be the intellectual property that I regularly steal from the Mirror Forum in order that the information can remain in the public domain: rather than allowing that information to be consigned to the realms of google cache by the Mirror's current crack down on free speech.

And, let's not get into Mr Hitchen's terms and conditions. Which would appear to allow him to filch the intellectual property of his commenters and allow them the opportunity to bask in the reflected glow of Mr Hitchen's burgeoning literary pretentions. Who knows? Maybe Mr Hitchen will even sell their words back to them, if they are willing to join the queue for a signed copy of his book.

As for calling him a liar, I would not be so bold. I personally find his brand of unsourced semi-sentimental ranting not to my taste, but I would not say that he is lying. It may well be that he has, as I am led to believe, inside information and a network of contacts that allow him to reasonably push his line that the McCann's are a couple of murderers.

And let us hope for the sake of his band of fellow travellers that he has. Since according to the terms and conditions of his website, it may be the case that he will be tapping them up for legal fees if the libel lawyers come calling.

And do not worry dear reader. The picture Mr Hitchen's has of you is of an ape. Which I think is rather sweet. And yes, in some cultures to call someone an ape or monkey is an epithet, but I am sure we are all above such childish name calling.

I also like the the use of the word 'it' to describe me. It casts a mental picture in my mind of Mr Hitchen's as Golem, and far be it from me to suggest there is a resemblence to Mr Hitchen's picture.

And just to prove how childish Mr Hitchen's is, he lands the 'killer blow' to prove that his blog is better than mine (as if anyone with a brain cares).

Well Mike I notice that you didn't win.

I started to feel slightly suspicious of Mike when he made the statements that imply he knows a lot more about what is going on in the background but that he's not allowed to say anything. If that's the case, then we'll never know because he won't be allowed to say until after it becomes public domain. But then of course we could all say "I knew that but I wasn't allowed to say anything".

Then I started to notice other things that made me unconfrotable with him.

And it does have to be said that despite Mr Merchant attempting to paint himself as the victim of a dirty tricks campaign, the reason M* ****** wrote to him was in order to get Justice for Madeleine McCann. It was not to expose UKIP as 'fruit cakes, loonies and racists'. Though by their response some might think David Cameron had a point.

I have had a reply from the Sol journalist who wrote the story:

"I am happy to clear things out for you... The copy and the name of the letter's author were given to me by Mr. Merchant himself. I knew about the letter though several e-mails from British citizens concerned with the views expressed by Piers Merchant."

Which means that it was Mr Merchant who is responsible for M* ****** being named.

I wonder if Mr Knapman's constiuents would feel happy about writing to him in future knowing that their name and personal details will find their way into the public domain, should a member of Mr Knapman's staff get themself into an embarrassing political situation.; 14 Nov 2007 20:00:00

What is Mike's problem that he has to post comments like this? He's downright rude to refer to someone as "it" and he's also hypocritical to slag someone off about lack of talent and a willingness to work. His 'talent' is repeating old stuff and his 'willingness to work' is merely copying and pasting most of his articles with permission from other sources - any old bugger can do that. I also note that if he posts articles that are nothing to do with the McCann's then he hardly gets any comments so who is he to ridicule other blogs? Whose missing child will he use next to entice people to his blog after this McCann case dries up?

His old age admirers started complimenting him on how good he looks (each to their own) and boy doesn't he scrub up well etc. So he changed the picture.

I read his blog a few times and thought it poorly written for a man claiming to work in PR, publishing or journalism. He had several pompous job titles listed; all sounded fake to me. Although I felt this way I was amazed by how many people commented on the McCann threads. While noticing comments before McCann news and current threads on subjects not McCann related receive very few comments. I was both repulsed and intrigued by the fascist cult atmosphere of his blog and read through without contributing.

It was obvious to me by my second visit that Mike Hitchen was a delusional raving megalomaniac and if he has never been diagnosed as having Narcissistic Personality Disorder he will be soon. He will surely win the NPD poster boy candidacy for 2008. Just another trophy for his overburdened mantle.

Oh and about its female followers. I *met* a woman who had believed its allegations of knowing more than it could share and its concern for its own safety because the McCanns and others were out-to-get-it until it became too forward with her during online chats and long distance telephone calls. You might say, the veil was lifted for her and she saw the light and realized what it was really all about. She warned me not to accept any invitation from it to speak privately with it.

I Really believe it was his intention to make his new visitors focus on this. A few weeks later, he posted on his blog that he was reinststing his paypal logo. Why bother mention this? To get donations, thats why? Donations must have been low, because a few weeks later he mentions paypal again, to state that the button has changed colour and it wasn't down to him, but paypal itself. Again, WHY mention this at all. Because it brings attention to his paypal donation button, it makes people look at it, and may bring in more money. That is his motive. I see through his sneaky ways and by what he writes, I can predict what he is thinking, he is so obvious.
That is when I first had doubts about him. Next was "his inside info". LOL. He always knew something that noone else did. He always hinted he would be able to reveal all soon. Suddenly he appealed for information on his blog. LOL. A poster pointed out to him that they were disheartened by this as he implied he had inside info, and all hell broke loose. Hitchwitch and his coven attacked this poster, along with another poster. I was shocked at hitchwitchs response. The poster wasn't at all critical and way too polite in my opinion. He/She was attacked, called a keyboard monkey, accused of posting on the blog regulary to disrupt it among other things. Next day hitchwitch had removed all the posts, including ones he insulted the posters that questioned him. I think he was ashamed and didn't wan't anyone to see the rude childish way he behaved and knew that poster was posting elsewhere about what happened. He tried to cover it up. This is the day that made my mind up that he was an self obsessed little loner and the only loving company he ever had was that of his right hand.
His coven are too wrapped up in him to see outside the window. I still read his blog, but only for a laugh. It is getting more rediculous by the day. I could never post on his blog again.; 15 Nov 2007 19:33:00

The Australian fellow Hitchen is very disturbing to me for several reasons, including: 1) he continually uses highly emotive and pejorative language to describe the McCanns and their supporters, reminding me of children on a playground calling others names, 2) his regular uncalled-for sexual references and innuendos, which are out of line and indicate to me a troubled soul with probably some sexual hangups, 3) his references to the great number of "responses" his blogs receive, when in fact HE himself is usually responsible for 15% to 20% of the "responses" including his continual "thank yous" to people posting, 4) the songs and poems his little band of adherents create poking fun at the McCanns and the Madeleine tragedy; Hitchen supports this whole-heartedly, and he & his group chortle messages back and forth about it with "LOL" and such, disgusting, 5) Hitchen totally rounds on anyone with the slightest disagreement with his line of thinking and statements, he calls people nasty names, tries to ridicule them, rather than actually argue and discuss rationally, 6) he seems to present himself as some kind of moral authority, yet from his own bio, he has extremely limited qualifications, and someone who starts a "swingers" blog is hardly a person with moral authority. There are women in his shout box who all lick his ass as soon as he logs in himself. He stays in the shout box for a short while flirting, and all the women in there fight for his attention. One particular woman is convinced she is married to him. They complain if he doesn't include a smiley in his greetings to them. LOL. When he is signing off and says goodnight, one by one all the others leave too within minutes. Very very few stay to chat with eachother, until he is due to log in again, then they all log in at once and the fight for attention starts again. These women are paethetic really. They must lead sad lives to feel the need to scramble for this hitchwitches attention. It makes his ego massive though which is one of his big problems.
His regular posters amount to probably around a dozen in total, and yes, loads of the posts are from himself, he thanks each person individually to up the responses. The posts are all mainly chit chat with NO news. Another thing I don't like about him, he insults the mirror forum posters on a regular basis. His own regulars are most likely mirror posters. I am a mirror poster and I was offended the first time he did this, but find it quite funny now. Yes, anyone who wants to remind themselves of how petty people can actually be, just read his blog for a chuckle. That's all it's good for. NO NEWS, NO SOUND DISCUSSIONS, NO DEBATE, just the same old posters, posting the same old "I would never do this" "I would never do that" "you are great mike" "save the day mike" "solve the case mike" "Madeleine is relying on you mike". She told me he wanted to find ways to introduce it into his website. I said that surely starting another site would be better for him since his 'news' site is read by schoolchildren (supposedly). He is trying to deflect the impact of some of the comments here by making light, for example "I could get my harem of female fans altogether in a warehouse otuside Watford, knitting away 10 to the dozen". Ho ho ho.

I think he's all bluff. I guess he would now categorise me as one of his rejected slags too, except that I beat him to it and rejected him weeks ago. I can't stand all the slagging off on that blog, especially when he says schoolchildren use it. There's really no need for name calling when the subject matter is a little girl called Maddie and his targets are her parents. Although someone said today on MH's blog that he is able to trace home addresses, when I queried this twice, of course my posts were promptly deleted.

There is no point asking me about the technical stuff.

I can get IP addresses from my counter, by there is no connection between that and who is posting... well there is... in the sense that if there was only one visitor and that visitor left a comment it is fairly safe to assume it as that person. But in all other circumstances it is a matter of guess work and prejudice.

As for whether you can track the comment through blogger, I suppose it is possible, though my guess would be, you would have to contact google, or the company running the service on their behalf.

I just get an email saying that someone has commented, but I have never noticed any IP information in the email.

And there does not appear to be any informaton in the post, other than a database referance number to index it in the blog.

I would like to help you with this matter, but since I don't give a toss about where you all live, and am not about to attempt to find out - even if only to give you an answer to this question - you may rest assured I shall not be turning up on your doorstep - and hopefully you will not be turning up on mine.... lol; 19 Nov 2007 20:20:00

He was very upset. He felt the same about C Mitchell the same as MH did but was very insulted that MH insulted all people who wore pink shirts, He never thought that MH would stoop to such pettiness.

He keeps going on about tracking the anon posters and knowing who they are. Who cares. Does he think that the anons care what he knows about them?

Maybe TFA can give MH some advice on how to write a good blog. The only thing MH knows how to do is copy and paste 'human interest' stories from IRIN or Voice of America. Hey Hitchen, TFA probably doesn't have time to worry about her posters posting on other peoples blogs. It is not really a matter to get your knickers in a twist over, now is it? Unless one is very paranoid.
You should spent a little more time perhaps, researching some news to update your blog, instead of harrassing your posters for signed statements saying that they didn't post here. Is it against your law for your supporters to post elsewhere?

That's the funny thing, Susie from the shoutbox doesn't post on his blog - her occupation is the shoutbox where she can do virtual housework with the emoticons of vacuum cleaners, ironing boards, washing machines. Then she do her virtual shopping with the shopping trolley - all without leaving the comfort of her computer chair. That way she never misses Mike when he logs in to chat to his laptop bitches. Susie is the main one who will attack newbies and get rid of them, along with Marion. They all queue up to vie for his attention and goad him on to talk about smacked bottoms and handcuffs.

It doesn't matter what time of day you log into the shoutbox, she's there!

I go in to read a few pages because the shoutbox is where Mike conducts his business with Isabel, the lady from Portugal, as she gives him some good tips for his articles.

He amuses me because he really is all talk/threats and no do - he does not own the internet or other blogs and he is a minority on the other blog posting records.

I am all for TFA who is not taking the bait and never has been petty, vindictive or small minded. One must consider these facts:-

Some people are born mediocre

Mike seems to think he's going to get some kind of global recognition for "nailing the McCann's", in which case I suspect he wants the glory all for himself...so just watch him push others out of the way near the end.

Despite Mike saying he truly believed this story needed a wider exposure, he's deleted it.

It is a serious subject matter that he initially supported.

Whilst I'm not bothered about that, I did ask Mike to write an article for my site. Never expecting anything for free, I made a donation to his paypal account in anticipation of the article.

It never came, despite repeated requests. Instead, all reference to my site has been deleted.

And like other people who have commented on this thread, I was also subjected to a barrage of public insults and belittling on his blog from Mike. I'm not sure why he pretends to be 'friends' with people then publicly ridicules and insults them and then has a laugh about them in the shoutbox.

As one of the titles on your blog reads "With friends like these....."
